The Jorge’s Dream
Jorge Pardo & Hania Farrell
This suite brings together the creative worlds of Jorge Pardo and Hania Farrell, offering an immersive sensory experience that plays with color, light, volume, and rhythm. Jorge Pardo’s works, known for their vibrant colors, eclectic patterns, and use of both natural and industrial materials, span murals, home furnishings, and monumental fabrications. In dialogue with these, Hania Farrell’s art challenges the boundaries of photography, crafting multimedia environments that draw the viewer into a meditative exploration of perception and emotion.
At the heart of the suite is Farrell’s abstract series Portrait of Emotions, inspired by fleeting moments captured during long journeys. These works encapsulate the emotional resonance of transient experiences, offering a metaphorical reflection on the mind’s polarities. A Misty Morning Doesn’t Qualify a Cloudy Day, with its white and green palette, harmonizes with the surrounding artworks, inviting a shared sense of renewal. Together, Pardo and Farrell’s creations transform the space into a dynamic environment, fostering introspection and emotional re-energization.
